Diana: Love Life Legacy

Perched high above the surrounding landscape with sweeping views of Southern California, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum offers tour groups one of the state’s most distinctive and memorable destinations. History comes to life through immersive galleries, iconic artifacts, beautiful grounds, and experiences visitors cannot find anywhere else.

Where else can guests walk aboard an actual Air Force One aircraft that carried seven U.S. presidents, touch an authentic piece of the Berlin Wall, or see a steel beam recovered from the World Trade Center after September 11? Visitors can also explore Ronald Reagan’s remarkable journey from his boyhood through his Hollywood career, governorship of California, and presidency. Reproductions of the Reagan-era Oval Office and White House Rose Garden offer memorable photo opportunities, while President and Mrs. Reagan’s Memorial Site provides a meaningful place for reflection. 

Adding to the experience are the Library’s renowned special exhibitions. From November 7, 2026, through May 31, 2028, the Reagan Library will host the worldwide premiere of Diana: Love Life Legacy, a landmark exhibition honoring the beloved mother, humanitarian, and global icon.

Featuring more than 700 original artifacts, the exhibition explores every chapter of Diana’s extraordinary life through internationally recognized fashions, childhood treasures, jewelry, handwritten letters, historic documents, and personal possessions. Unique artifacts and objects highlighting the special transatlantic friendship between the Reagans and the United Kingdom will make this exhibition exclusive to the Reagan Library.

Items on display include:

• Diana’s iconic “Travolta” dress, on loan from Historic Royal Palaces;

• The invitation to the historic 1985 White House State Dinner;

• Diana’s famous “Black Sheep” sweater;

• The “Caring” dress worn while visiting hospitalized children;

• Jacques Azagury’s “Final Goodbye” Dress, the last gown Princess Diana tried on before her death, revealed publicly for the first time;

• The official program from Charles and Diana’s royal wedding;

• Princess Diana's wedding slippers;

• Princess Diana's iconic Lady Dior handbags, shoes, hats, and designer accessories;

• Jewelry from childhood keepsakes to iconic royal pieces;

• Handwritten letters, historic documents, and personal possessions.

The Reagan Library makes group travel easy. Two on-site restaurants offer a variety of group dining packages, ranging from sandwiches and salads to hot buffets and the elegant White House Lunch, featuring linen, china service, and wait staff. Groups can also plan visits around annual celebrations and special programs, including President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Veterans Day, the New Year’s Eve Celebration, Sunset Dinner and Dancing Series, and Holiday Dinners.

Free on-site parking includes dedicated bus stalls, and both the motorcoach driver and one escort receive complimentary admission. Groups of any size are welcome, while guided tours are available for groups of 15 or more. Reservations are required for groups of 20 or more.
